About the event

Join us for a screening of the documentary film "Dear Aloha" on Sunday, February 16, at The Redd on Salmon Street in Portland.


Doors open at 1:30 p.m., and programming continues until approximately 4:30 p.m. While the screening is free to the public, tickets are required. To register, visit: opb.org/aloha


The evening will include:


  • A special performance by Halau Ka Lei Haliʻa O Ka Lokelani

  • Catering by GrindWitTryz and music by "Uncle" Randy Chang

  • Panelists include Leialoha Kaʻula of KALO HCC, Cris Romento, the director of Big Aloha Pictures, and Eileen Martinez, a mental health professional who specializes in treatment with an emphasis on racial identity, cultural empathy, and trauma work through a decolonization lens.
